The Anthurium Reflexinervium just speaks  power! It’s leaves are thick, ridged and furrowed making it a striking plant all around.

These plants have been acclimated for 4 weeks – so once received it is advisable to keep them in temps between 19° and 24°C and at least 70-80% humidity for at least the next few months.

Please do not at all repot or change the mix for at least the next 12 months…. and then – if you get the itch  – please contact us for the best advise.

It’s important to note that plants will differ in size as per the pictures.

Anthurium Reflexinervium care guide

Light Requirements:

The Anthurium Reflexinervium do amazing in bright light and a well lit room. They can tolerate a medium lit room as well.

Watering needs:

Currently these anthuriums are being grown in sphagnum moss and it’s advisable to keep them in this medium for as long as poissible – at least for another 6 months. 
Keep an eye to not let them dry out completely, but ensure the sphagnum is kept moist, especially on the top. 

Spagnum is fantasitic where it distributes the water and moisture through capillary action. 

These plants have also only been watered with RO (reverse osmosis) water. Tap water is generally too hard and contain too many other chemicals.

Humidity requirements:

Try and attain at least 60-70% humidity for the next 6 months. They can tolerate normal humidity in the house following the initial step down process, but any plant with with velvet leaves would need additional humidity to thrive. 

Fertilizing:

All of these plants do have a slow release fertilizer in them which will be good forat least another 10 months. A very low dose of a water soluble fertilizer can be included each time your water – or, at least on a monthly basis. 

Soil:

We do not advise to repot this plant for at least 6 months to a year. If however it is time – please contact us so that we are able to give you the best mix possible to ensure the least amount of stress and a base of supplements which will ensure it’s continued growth.
