Light Requirements:
These plants do best in bright light areas to even handling a little bit of sun. They can be the perfect plants in the room or patio table. They are also quite low light tolerate so also perfect for the office desk or side table. .
Watering needs:
Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, ensuring excess water drains away to prevent root rot. In winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant enters a dormant period. Sansevierias are drought-tolerant and prefer to be underwatered rather than overwatered.
Humidity requirements:
Snake Plant ‘s are adaptable to various humidity levels and can thrive in low humidity environments. They do not require misting or high humidity levels to thrive.
Fertilizing:
Food is always important for any growing plant. During spring and summer fertilize when you water them. The best recommended fertlizer used by Staghorn and Pitcher is TerraPlus N with a combination of using a controlled release fertilizer that slowly releases nurtrients over 6 months.
Soil:
When repotting – you must ensure that the mix is very light and fluffy and very well draining – so incorporate a lot of coir husks, coir fibre and perlite.
