Commonly known as: Plant Care Insecticide

Product name: Makhro Plant Care 100ml

When pests appear on your indoor plants, treating only the insects you can see is often not enough. Eggs hatch, hidden pests continue feeding and before long the problem starts all over again.

Systemic Houseplant Insecticide (Makhro Plant Care) combines two different insecticides that work together to provide more complete control. Bifenthrin acts as a contact insecticide, controlling insects that are sprayed directly, while acetamiprid is absorbed into the plant and moves through its tissues to control sap-sucking insects as they continue feeding.

This combination makes it an excellent choice for indoor plant collections where pests often hide beneath leaves, inside new growth or deep within dense foliage. Rather than relying only on direct spray contact, the systemic ingredient continues working after application as it is taken up and transported throughout the plant.

Makhro Plant Care is registered for use on ornamental plants and controls many of the pests most commonly found on indoor plants, including aphids, whiteflies, red spider mites and thrips. It also controls several caterpillar pests and white grubs on ornamental plants.

Whether you’re dealing with your first outbreak or maintaining a larger collection, this is an excellent all-round insecticide to keep on hand. Early treatment almost always produces the best results and helps prevent pests from becoming established.

How to Use lant Care Insecticide

Mixing Rate

Mix 4ml of Systemic Houseplant Insecticide with 1 litre of clean water. Shake the bottle well before measuring and mixing.

Application

Spray the entire plant thoroughly, ensuring both the upper and lower surfaces of every leaf are covered. Don’t forget stems, petioles and new growth where pests often hide. Good spray coverage produces the best results.

Repeat Applications

Repeat the application after 7–10 days if pests are still present or if re-infestation occurs. Do not exceed four applications per growing season.

Best Results

Treat plants as soon as the first signs of pests appear. Avoid spraying during the hottest part of the day or when plants are under drought or heat stress. Clean dusty leaves before spraying, as dust can reduce uptake of the systemic ingredient.

FAQ’s

Q: What does “systemic” mean?
A systemic insecticide is absorbed by the plant and transported through its tissues. This allows it to control sap-sucking insects that continue feeding after the spray has dried.

Q: Which pests does it control?
It controls aphids, whiteflies, red spider mites, thrips, caterpillars and white grubs on registered ornamental plants.

Q: Is it suitable for indoor plants?
Yes. It is registered for ornamental plants and is suitable for use on most indoor foliage plants when used according to the label.

Q: How often should I spray?
Repeat applications every 7–10 days if necessary. Do not exceed four applications during a growing season.

Q: Why do I still need good spray coverage if it’s systemic?
The product contains both a contact insecticide and a systemic insecticide. Thorough coverage gives immediate control of exposed insects, while the systemic ingredient continues protecting the plant from within.

Q: Can I use it on edible plants?
No. This product is intended for ornamental plants and should not be used on edible crops unless the label specifically permits it.
