Light: Place your Tillandsia in bright, indirect light for optimal growth. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause leaf burn and dry it out very quickly. Indoors, near a window with filtered light is ideal. Outdoors, choose a spot with partial shade.
Watering: Submerge your Tillandsia in room temperature water for 20-30 minutes once a week. Alternatively, mist your plant 2-3 times a week. After watering, shake off excess water and allow it to dry completely to prevent rot. Adjust watering frequency based on your home’s humidity levels. Watering may need to increase during hot summer months.
Air Circulation: Tillandsias thrive in environments with good air circulation. Ensure proper ventilation around your plant by placing it in an area with adequate airflow. Avoid enclosed spaces with stagnant air.
Fertilizing: Feed your Tillandsia with a water-soluble fertilizer such as Grobest diluted to one-quarter strength once a month during the growing season and then alternate with Multi Booster which is high in Potassium that will assist with flowering.
