Give your climbers the support they deserve with this 1.2m Transparent Moss Pole — tall, sleek, and built to last. The clear structure lets you admire every aerial root and stem as your plant climbs, creating a natural yet polished display.

Made from durable transparent plastic, it’s resistant to rot, reusable, and easy to refill with sphagnum moss or coco husks.

The design locks securely into the pot, and the hollow core allows for watering from the top so moisture spreads evenly down the pole — perfect for stimulating aerial root growth.

Sphagnum moss is definitely one of the best substrates for moss poles as it’s retains a good amount of moisture which is vital for aerial roots.
Should it dry out accidentally, it can be rehydrated again fairly easy as compared to other poles which incorporate coir or green moss.

Sphagnum  gives the plant’s aerial roots the perfect home to sink into which in turn assists with faster growth. 

Keeping them moist is fairly easy with our Self watering drippers.

💧 Watering – How should I keep my moss pole moist?

Lightly water from the top until the moss is damp but not dripping. Self watering drippers are ideal for keep the sphagnum moss moist. Depending on your indoor climate, this may be every 5–7 days. A light misting between waterings keeps humidity consistent around new roots.


☀️ Placement – Where should I position my plant and pole?

Place the plant in bright, indirect light. Consistent light encourages both leaf size and aerial root development. Keep the pole upright and stable — pressing it gently into the potting mix before securing with ties if needed.


🌱 Substrate – What mix works best with a moss pole?

Sphagnum moss works the best for moss poles, alternatively you can use coco husks.


🌿 Feeding – Should I fertilise plants growing on a moss pole?

Yes. When watering, occasionally you can add a dilutes solution of the Novatec so roots absorb nutrients. 


🐛 Maintenance – How do I keep it looking its best?

Wipe the pole occasionally with a damp cloth to prevent algae build-up.
