Allow the top few centimetres of the growing medium to dry before watering thoroughly. Monsteras prefer evenly moist conditions but don’t enjoy sitting in water. During winter, reduce watering slightly as growth slows.

Monstera Deliciosa is naturally a climbing plant, so providing support allows it to grow as it would in the wild. As it climbs, it typically produces larger leaves with more pronounced fenestrations, creating an even more impressive display over time.
Pests – What should I look out for?
Watch for spider mites, thrips and mealybugs, particularly around new growth and on the undersides of leaves. Healthy plants grown with good airflow are generally very resilient.
Temperature – What’s the ideal temperature?
Monstera Deliciosa grows best between 18°C and 30°C. Protect it from temperatures below 15°C and avoid placing it near cold drafts or air conditioners.
