Commonly know as : Peperomia Variegata
Peperomia Variegata care guide
☀️ Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light for optimal growth. It can tolerate lower light but may lose some variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
💦 Watering:
Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot, so ensure the pot has good drainage.
🌡️ Temperature & Humidity:
Thrives in temperatures between 18–26°C. Prefers moderate humidity but adapts well to normal indoor conditions.
🌱 Soil & Repotting:
For optimal drainage and healthy roots, you can use our Aroid Mix. Alternatively, create your own mix using Barks Unlimited Potting Soil combined with Perlite. Repot every 2–3 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. When repotting, adding Bark Chips helps improve aeration and drainage.
🌿 Fertilizing:
Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Use Controlled Release Fertilizer for consistent nutrients.
✂️ Pruning & Maintenance:
Pinch back leggy growth to maintain a bushy shape. Clean leaves occasionally to remove dust and improve photosynthesis.
🐛 Pests & Issues:
Generally pest-resistant but may occasionally attract spider mites or mealybugs. Treat infestations with an insecticidal spray if needed. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
