Name

Commonly known as: Pothos Diamond Lime

Botanical name: Epipremnum ‘Diamond Lime’

Pothos Diamond Lime brings brightness and contrast into an indoor space through its vivid foliage. Each leaf shows a mix of fresh lime tones and soft green, creating a clean, luminous look that stands out without overwhelming its surroundings. In good light, the variegation remains sharp and evenly distributed across the plant.

This variety grows in a trailing habit, producing flexible stems that spill naturally over the edge of pots or shelves. In a 15cm pot, Pothos Diamond Lime already shows a full, balanced shape and responds well to occasional trimming. Regular pruning encourages branching and helps maintain a compact form.

Pothos Diamond Lime adapts easily to indoor conditions. With stable light, steady watering, and a well-structured growing mix, it continues to produce healthy growth and consistent colour. Its forgiving nature makes it a dependable option for both newer growers and established plant collections.

Pothos Diamond Lime Care Guide

Water logo

Watering – How often should it be watered?

Water when the top 3–5cm of the mix has dried out. Pothos prefers evenly moist soil but reacts poorly to waterlogged conditions. Always allow excess water to drain freely.

Light logo

Light – What light does Pothos Diamond Lime need?

Bright, indirect light works best for these plants. Good light helps maintain strong lime variegation, however this  plant does tolerates medium light well, although colour contrast may soften slightly.

Humidity logo

Humidity – Does it need extra humidity?

Average indoor humidity is sufficient. Pothos adapts well to normal home conditions without additional humidity support.

Soil Logo

Soil – What soil works best?

It’s always good to use a chunky, free-draining mix that supports healthy roots. Our Aroid Mix works well. Alternatively, use Indoor Potting Soil as a base and improve structure with Perlite and Bark Chips.

Fertilizing logo

Feeding – How should it be fertilised?

Feed during spring and summer with Grobest Organic Fertiliser every 4–6 weeks. For faster growth during peak season, Novatec Soluble Fertiliser can be used occasionally at a reduced strength.

Repotting logi

Repotting – When should it be repotted?

Repot every 12–18 months, or once roots fill the pot. Move up one pot size only. At repotting time, incorporate TerraPlus Natura N and Controlled Release Fertiliser into the fresh mix.

Pest image

Pests – What pests should I watch for?

Inspect stems and leaf undersides for mealybugs, spider mites, and thrips. Early treatment with an insecticidal spray prevents spread.

Temerature image

Temperature – What temperature suits it best?

Pothos Diamond Lime grows best between 18°C and 28°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 12°C.
